We care about church membership because we care about the word of God and the souls of people. The New Testament teaches that to be joined to Christ through faith is to be joined to other believers (Rom. 12:5). Formal membership allows individual believers to identify with a local body of faithful Christ-followers who commit to love, encourage, serve, and protect one another (Eph. 5:21). 

We accept candidates for membership upon their personal profession of faith in Christ and completion of our membership process. This process includes membership interviews with the leadership of our church and membership orientation, as well as public baptism for those who have not previously been baptized.
