Ministry Partnership

Through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), we partner with over 47,000 local churches in sending and supporting missionaries who bring the good news of Jesus Christ to people around the world. The SBC is also very involved in global disaster relief efforts. Additionally, First Baptist Church of Eclectic partners with many independent Christian ministries to meet the everyday needs of people in our local community and across the globe.

Eclectic Kindness Ministry

Each week, families in our community benefit from our local food pantry. The Kindness ministry serves all who qualify for assistance and is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9am to Noon. In addition to food, we stock clothing, toiletries, and other household items. We also offer friendly conversation and prayer for all of our guests. For more details, please call the church office at 334.541.4444.

The Pray for Me Campaign is a national movement founded by Tony Souder. During the school year, members from our church commit to pray for students by name. These prayer champions also connect with the students on a personal level. Through this movement, our church seeks to rally around the next generation for the glory of Christ!

Good News Club

(currently suspended due to COVID-19)

We partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Alabama to bring Good News Clubs to Eclectic Elementary students. We also seek to conduct Bible clubs throughout our community during the summer months. These clubs enable us to share with children and families the good news of who God is and what he has done for us through Jesus Christ.
